-Traditional Indigo Dyeing-
"Hon-aizome" (traditional indigo dyeing) involves cultivating "Tade-ai" (Japanese indigo) in Tokushima, then fermenting it to create "sukumo." This sukumo is then used with natural materials such as lye and wheat bran to create a dye solution, which is used to hand-dye each item one by one.
While there are various methods of indigo dyeing, "Hon-aizome" is the most traditional method, making the most of indigo's inherent characteristics.
The color changes as you use it, and this aging process will make it a one-of-a-kind item just for you.
