Alex visited our store.
He really liked the red MEX MARIA sukajan we had released at the time, and he still uses it as his stage costume today.
Since then, he had been visiting RUDE GALLERY TOKYO every time he came to Japan, so I decided to pluck up the courage to contact him.
After a long exchange of messages, this special project began with Alex's delightful comment, "I've made a new album, so why don't we do something interesting together?"
When it comes to Franz Ferdinand, it has to be "sukajan."
Bringing together our ideas and exchanging messages countless times, we completed a one-of-a-kind piece that was unveiled for the first time in the world at the recent Glastonbury Festival.
