The legendary event "696" that the three of them unleashed across Japan.
Winter 2000.
The "696 TRAVELING HIGH TOUR" packed rock and roll into a black skull bus and traversed Japan from Obihiro in the north to Nagasaki in the south.
Visiting towns, making everyone dance, dancing themselves, and then driving the bus to the next town.
Photographer Takashi Matsuda continued to capture those moments.
His camera relentlessly observed their impulses, the heating-up musicians, and the reality of the enthusiastic audience.
Memories of that journey, 25 years later, now again.
