Beginning August 26 (Sat), we will once again offer a limited lineup of "Hon-Aizome" items, specially produced in Tokushima, the sacred land of indigo dyeing.

- Hon-Aizome -

"Hon-Aizome" is a traditional indigo dyeing method where each item is hand-dyed using a fermentation vat made only from natural ingredients, such as sukumo (fermented indigo leaves) from cultivated "tade-ai" (Persicaria tinctoria), lye, and wheat bran.


While there are various methods of indigo dyeing, "Hon-Aizome" is the most traditional and best utilizes the inherent properties of indigo.

As you use the item, the color will change over time, and this unique aging process will make it truly yours.
